The Business Development Representative (BDR) will support the growing sales efforts of TouchPoint Software - the industry’s most innovative church management software solution. 

Desired Profile: 

The BDR is primarily responsible for identifying, scheduling, and assisting in the introduction of large churches around the U.S. who want to optimize their ministry’s reach and impact. The ideal candidate will have a heart for ministry and be internally motivated and driven to exceed expectations. A strong desire for professional development and growth will assist in paving the way to a successful career at TouchPoint. This position will also be responsible for assisting sales in new market research and development initiatives. 


  • Meets and exceeds performance goals which include opportunities created and demos or meetings scheduled. 
  • Provides insights into sales lead generation strategies with the sales and marketing team. 
  • Researches, identifies, and contacts prospective clients to schedule and conduct discovery conversations. 
  • Analyzes new prospects based on key performance indicators Sets meeting agenda and expectations with qualified decision makers. 
  • Participates in meetings with prospects and Sales Leaders, as needed. 
  • Maintains the CRM database (Salesforce.com), updating activities, company information, contacts, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses. 
  • Helps execute targeted marketing campaigns to generate leads and opportunities. 
  • Attends conferences and shows from time-to-time as needed. 
  • Other duties and projects as needed or assigned. 


  • Highly effective ability to communicate at all levels, both in writing and verbally. 
  • Enthusiastic and professional demeanor exhibiting a high level of honesty and sincerity in interacting with prospects and customers so that a professional and trusting relationship can be formed. 
  • Proactive and self-motivated with experience meeting or exceeding sales goals preferred. 
  • Exhibits a high level of follow-through, persistence and the ability to overcome obstacles. 
  • Strong planning and organizing skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks and changing priorities. 
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight. 
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office and internet search tools. 
  • Ability to travel as needed. 
  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or account management preferred, but not required.
