We are pleased to announce that an update to the Check-In Print Server is available. This newest version can be run as a Windows service, running in the background even when no one is logged into the computer. While running as a service, the print server will automatically restart itself hourly.

What You Need to Do

If you have a previous version of the Check-In Print Server installed (1.0.3 or earlier), it will not automatically update to the latest version (1.0.4). You will need to manually install the new version from https://www.touchpointsoftware.com/checkinprinter. Your previous settings will be retained. After installation, you can uninstall version 1.0.3.

If you are still using the legacy version of Check-In, please plan to migrate to Web Check-In as soon as possible. This print server update paves the way for planned updates to the Check-In apps for iOS and Android tablets. Once those are updated, the apps will only work with Web Check-In.
